Nuno Felt Seamless Garment

avatar

Diamond Point, NY

Marjolaine Arsenault is a feltmaker/fiber artist fascinated by the creative process of making seamless nuno felt garments. Her work is influenced by her love of gardening and the interpretations of natural elements. Composition, color harmony and texture are integral to every creation. Nuno wet felting technique invites the imagination to paint with wool, silk and other fibers to create unique pieces of wearable art. She traveled for 10 years across the country to sell at various Juried Fine Craft Shows and to teach workshops. She was awarded the Collector’s Award at the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show in 2013 and the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Chicago Botanical Garden Fine Craft Show in 2014. Her garments were exhibited and published in USA and Canada. She studied Fine Art at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She was a graphic designer for 20 years and a garden designer for 10 years, she continues following her heart to recreate herself. Her studio is located in Diamond Point, NY.
