My background is as a graphic designer and watercolor artist. I began my fiber journey making traditional hooked rugs which require felted wool cloth. Around 2005, I was introduced to wet fiber feltmaking by Jorie Johnson and have never gone back to pre-woven cloth… unless I can mix it with fiber off the sheep’s back.

Hats, jewelry, table runners and rugs have been my main focus. Within the past few years I’ve become more interested in mixing media and found objects into wool fiber in 2 and 3 dimensions.

During the past few years I’ve been included in Juried group shows at The Mesa Contemporary Art Museum, Mesa, AZ; Art Trust Gallery, West Chester PA; Chester County Art Association, West Chester PA; Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie, NY and The Plastics Club, Philadelphia, PA.
