Class 1 – Wednesday and Thursday, July 6 and 7, 2022 – Zion Lutheran Church, 183 William St, Portland, CT

Class 2 – Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10, 2022 – Waverly Senior Center, 7 Waverly Ave, Portland, CT

 

Cost: $200 (Includes NEFG membership for the remainder of the calendar year)       Class limit: 12

Sign up is on a first come bases. Please be aware that when you sign up for the course, and find that you have to cancel, refunds are not offered unless there is a ‘waiting list’. You are also given the option of finding a replacement for the course on your own.

Join fiber artist Natalya Brashovetska in making a gorgeous handbag. Learn how to use one pattern with the possibility of modifying it in 5 different ways. Learn ways to account for shrinkage, incorporate textures and designs, and add a variety of straps.

Natalya, a native of Ukraine now living in Cyprus, is an accomplished felt artist and fashion designer who has taught around the world. A generous teacher, she shares tips continuously while focusing attention on each individual. Bring your ideas and creativity and be ready for a rewarding experience!
