A breath awakens a memory to the screen. As our own breath sustains us, our memories sustain us. Memory Capsules nurture memories through preservation. Technology’s role is questioned, as algorithms curate different narratives, while erasing others.

The longer the piece runs, the more it manipulates memories by rearranging successive images, distorting images, re-orientating images, blacking out portions of the images and erasing images in their entirety. The device that has been entrusted to protect and preserve the memories, instead destroys them. Our sense of identity is impacted by this loss.
